The Lone Star Recycling and Disposal Transfer Station is located within the same facility as our C/D Landfill. Just as the landfill, TCEQ has authorized the facility with a Registration number 40249. This Municipal Solid Waste facility accepts, putrescible waste, rubbish, yard waste, commercial solid waste, construction demolition and Class 2 and Class 3 industrial non-hazardous waste.
Municipal Solid Waste trucks dump on a clean concrete floor inside a large building that measures 150’ x 150’. The waste is then trans-loaded into much larger trucks and transferred to a Type 1 MSW landfill within 100 miles. We currently accept MSW Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
